The purpose of the Safe and Healthy Community Advisory Committee is to provide strategic advice and recommendations to Council on a scope of issues related to matters of developing and sustaining a safe and healthy community.

This may include advice on programs and services, policies, community and partnership opportunities and proactive approaches, to issues and situations leading to improved safety and security and healthy community.
