The Seagram Company acknowledged the important contributions that employees made to the distillery and developed programs to recognize their dedication.  Long service award and retirement dinners were held regularly and employees were presented with commemorative watches, pins and key chains.  Many of these awards are still worn with pride today by the recipients.  Employees were also given bonuses and perks such as a turkey at Christmas time, and were provided with a comprehensive benefits plan.

Employees of the company also benefited through the Company's policy of offering student employment opportunities to the workers' children.  In addition, the company offered an education refund program to encourage full-time employees to upgrade their skills and offered scholarships to children of employees who attended university.
