Bike Parking

There are more than 225 bike parking spaces in uptown Waterloo, with a covered shelter in the Uptown Parkade (located at the corner of King Street and Willis Way). New bicycle parking, including inverted U bike racks, and 5-stall bike racks is located in the uptown core, Waterloo Public Library main branch, Adult Recreation Centre, Albert McCormick Community Centre City train station, and Moses Springer Community Centre.

Secure bike parking

The City of Waterloo offers secure bicycle parking in the uptown (see photos below) with four bicycle lockers located in front of the Uptown Waterloo Parkade. The lockers are available for rent at a cost of $10/month (plus HST) for a minimum four month rental term with a $30 security deposit. Does your tire need air?

We have bicycle pumps available to the public at the Waterloo City Centre (at the corner of Regina Street and William Street),  the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex (101 Father David Bauer Dr.), the uptown parkade (at the corner of King Street and Willis Way) and Albert McCormic Community Centre (500 Parkside Dr.).

Bike valet parking

If you're thining of coming out to the UpTown Waterloo Jazz Festival or the Busker Carnival, leave your car and cycle instead! City staff will be present during these events to valet park your bike in a staff-monitoried area so you can enjoy yourself worry-free.
