Summer Camps 2017

Summer camp 2017 is right around the corner. Please note that our information is now available in the Spring 2017 Guide and registration begins on Wednesday March 8 at 8 a.m.

Some new things to look forward to this summer are:

  • The Director's Cut - filmmaking camp and Lego stop motion animation camp
  • Themed fun centre camps to choose from
  • New name for our WMRC camp - now Summer Adventure Camp
  • Same great locations

Back by popular demand:

  • Summer Fun Centres at two locations
  • Variety camp - something new every week
  • Twisters Learn to Cheer camp
  • Skateboarding and scooter camp

Why do we do camps?

We want kids to laugh and have fun while making memories that they will talk about! Our staff love camp and want all children to have an unforgettable, safe and active camp experience. The practice of being silly, getting messy and being a kid will lead to an amazing fun summer.

Keep your kids busy and active during the summer months with the City of Waterloo's affordable day camps (ages 7 to 12 years), fun centres (ages 4 to 7 years) or youth leadership development program (ages 13 to 16 years) run out of our recreation facilities, these fun programs are geared towards specific age groups and interests.

See tabs on the left of this page for all information and consent forms specific for the camp you are registering for.

We also mark some special days throughout the year - including Winter break and March break.

Need more information? Visit our frequently asked questions page to find answers to commonly asked questions. Then register for the camps your kids are interested in attending.

You may also want to check out our every kid counts program, which provides children and youth with a disability access to additional support that enables them to attend our programs, based on availability.
