Day-camp questions

A. Yes, all participants in the day camps (excluding The Directors Cut, Evolve skateboard camp and Twisters cheer camp) must purchase a camp t-shirt for $10. Campers must wear the shirt on trip day and days when we leave the facility. Fun Centre campers are not required to purchase a shirt but can if they want to.

A. You can buy them online when you register your child for camp. Please purchase it with the first week if your child is attending multiple weeks. You may use your shirt from previous years.

A. Lunches can be purchased for most of our day camps. You can purchase lunch for 1 or more days throughout the week online when you register your child for camp.

Q. What is the trip cancellation process?

A. If the weather is unsuitable for the outing, we will select an indoor trip location as an alternative. We are unable to reschedule trip days. We make cancellation decisions by 9 a.m. on the day of the trip.

Q. Do day-camp participants get to go swimming?

A. Participants in some of our day camps will have opportunities to swim at the Swimplex and the outdoor pool at the Moses Springer Community Centre. We do not swim everyday and our Variety camp may choose not to swim based on the weeks planning. The pool staff members are certified and will supervise daily swims with the day camp staff. Participants will be tested at the beginning of the swim to determine their ability. Only those who are able to swim one width of the shallow end can use the slides and deep end.
