The City of Waterloo offers programs and activities at our facilities to keep your kids busy during March break. Between our March break madness camp and our drop-in programs, there are a lot of options to choose from.
March break camp - Full for 2013
Our March break madness camp for kids aged five to 12 years old is now full.
Days are spent doing crafts, sports, songs, games, trips and more. It fills up quickly, so sign up as soon as possible.
Dates: March 11-15
Times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Manulife Financial Soccer and Sports Complex at Bechtel Park
Cost: $39 per day, per child
This overview outlines what the kids will do each day. There are several ways to register. Please read the parent information package and fill in the consent form and return it by the first day of camp.
There are a variety of drop-in activities over March break for kids of all ages and interests:
- Skate and soccer schedule
- Swim schedule
- Extended hours at the City of Waterloo Museum exhibit Canadian Comic Creators on Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission. Special guest Scott Chantler will appear on March 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Mad Science at the Waterloo Public Square on March 14 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Be dazzled by the fire and ice show
- St. Patrick's Day celebration at the Waterloo Public Square on March 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event features Irish dancers, face painting, a leprechaun and a performance by Shananigans
