The Moses Springer Community Centre - named after the first mayor of the town of Waterloo - is home to an arena and the largest outdoor swimming pool in the region.

Hours of operation
This facility is open seven days per week. The arena fall/winter hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with seasonally adjusted hours for programming. The spring/summer hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with seasonally adjusted hours for programming. The arena at the Moses Springer Community Centre is busy with hockey, ringette and community rentals, and indoor pre-season training for baseball and hockey players. It can accommodate major tournaments.
The rink is 56 metres by 26 metres (185 feet by 85 feet), with four change rooms, 30½ metres (100 feet) of candle lighting for television and seating for 200 spectators.
The eight-lane outdoor pool has two waterslides, change rooms and a ramp and stairs leading to the shallow end.
The centre also has a meeting room for up to 25 people, free parking and a nearby trail and greenspace with a picnic area and swing-sets.
