Hours of operation

The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex is home to the Sun Life Financial Arena, with an Olympic-sized ice surface that is 30 metres by 60 metres (100 feet by 200 feet). The arena seats 3,400, with a total spectator capacity of 4,400 people. The ice surface can be covered to accommodate shows, trade shows and other special event from the middle of August until the end of April.
There are eight large dressing rooms with showers, two referee rooms with showers, a first-aid room, press box, seven concession booths, 30½ metres (100 feet) of candle lighting for television, 600 amp electrical service and event staging that is up to 8½ metres by 12 metres (28 feet by 40 feet).
This facility is also home to the Swimplex - an indoor swimming pool with a diving tower, waterslide and leisure/splash area - as well as an indoor track, meeting rooms and banquet facilities.
The facility is fully licensed, air-conditioned, smoke free and wheelchair accessible. There also is a box office that sells tickets for city events.
