Hundreds of people in the City of Waterloo join in environmental events held in the community around Earth Day (April 22) - the most celebrated environmental event in the world.

Since 1991, Earth Day Canada, a national environmental organization, has empowered communities to take action by getting involved in Earth Day events and projects during the month of April.

Partners in Parks stewardship activities
