Senior Outing Day Program

The senior outing day program provides a variety of group activities for adults who are 55 and older with a chronic illness, physical disability or memory loss.

The program consists of a variety of organized and supported group activities designed to meet your needs and capabilities. It runs Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Adult Recreation Centre at 185 King St. S.

The cost is $15 per day, which is subsidized if necessary.

The senior outing day program offers a number of fun activities.

  • Discussion groups led by staff
  • Gentle exercises
  • Guest speakers
  • Informal social time
  • Music
  • Physical games
  • Special events
  • Table and board games, including Scrabble, crokinole and dominoes

Each day includes a nutritious noon meal and snacks.
