The digital version of the Fall Program & Activities Guide is up!

Posted On Wednesday August 26, 2020

A special digital edition of the fall Program & Activities Guide is now available at

The City of Waterloo is committed to delivering enjoyable recreation experiences in a safe and responsible manner. Given the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and the continued gradual reopening of businesses and services across Waterloo Region, we have produced a digital-only format of the fall guide to remain as flexible as possible to make quick changes should the need arise. The digital format of the fall guide will direct residents to our online registration platform, ActiveWaterloo, where real-time information about programming and activities will be available. It’s important for the community to know that the information published could change at any time based on direction from public health and the provincial government.

We continue to closely monitor updates provided by Waterloo Region Public Health and the Province of Ontario and will alter protocols and practices as necessary.

We encourage readers to check advertiser websites for current information about their services, and to bookmark your favourites for future classes.

What can you expect to see in the digital version of the fall guide?

  • Letter to residents
  • Caregiver and child classes
  • Parent participation swim lessons
  • Winter break kids camps
  • Thursday morning homeschool STEM programs
  • back2basics museum exhibit
  • Test your fire safety knowledge
