Overnight parking ban in parts of Waterloo this Friday and Saturday night

Posted On Friday March 17, 2023

There will be no overnight on-street parking permitted in the MacGregor Albert, Northdale or uptown neighbourhoods in the City of Waterloo on Friday or Saturday night.

Overnight on-street parking exemptions will not be allowed in the area bordered by Westmount Road, Columbia Street, Weber Street and Erb Street in Waterloo overnight from Friday to Saturday (March 17 to 18) and Saturday to Sunday (March 18 to 19). Any vehicle left on the street overnight in this designated area will be ticketed, even if you have registered for an exemption. The city’s overnight parking registration system will remain available for users in other areas of the city to register their vehicles. The area where exemptions will not be allowed is noted on both the online overnight parking registration site and the email confirmation.

Registered vehicles can still be left overnight in the city’s Station Lot, and the Waterloo Town Square North and South Lots, as well as legal on-street parking outside the designated area. Overnight parking is not permitted in Waterloo Park.
