Hey NeighbourThe City of Waterloo’s inaugural block connector program is so successful that a second round of recruitment is now underway.  
The program was launched in June 2020 by the city’s neighbourhoods team to help neighbours connect and build supportive relationships, with a goal of developing a sense of community in both good and challenging times.

The City of Waterloo has declared a snow event and an overnight parking ban is in effect beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 22.
Residents must remove cars from streets by midnight tonight or risk being ticketed and towed. The parking ban will remain in effect for 24 hours until midnight on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020. Waterloo Fire Rescue Services is working with the Waterloo Regional Police Service, and the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Ontario to investigate an escalating series of fires in the City of Waterloo.
