Accessibility Plan

The City of Waterloo works with advice from the Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee (GRAAC) to develop and update the accessibility plan

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005) require municipalities to develop an accessibility plan that outlines and sets in place actions for the removal of barriers for people with disabilities. Municipalities must also seek advice from an accessibility advisory committee on the contents of their plans.

Our plan describes the actions we took in the previous years and the areas to be reviewed in the coming year, including measures and actions.

See the Annual Status Update on our plan.
