The City of Waterloo offers different types of funding to support neighbours in their efforts to build strong, connected communities. Whether you are planning a small project that costs $200, or a large placemaking project that will cost $7000, there is funding available to support your initiative. Affiliated community and neighbourhood groups are eligible to receive foundational operating funds.
Apply for up to $300 to support projects that enhance neighbourhood connection.
Apply for up to $7500 in matched funds to support placemaking projects and events that are inclusive to bring neighbours together.
The cash grants program is available to organizations that encourage recreation, sports, arts, culture, festivals and neighbourhood participation. Eligible organizations may apply for up to $5000 in operating or project funds.
