The 1912–1913 Waterloo County Baseball Club played in a four-team league with Berlin (Kitchener), Hespeler, and Galt. Waterloo opened the season with a big 14–10 win in Galt on May 31, with the mayor throwing the first pitch and a parade after the game. Their first home game against rivals from Berlin on June 7 ended in a 6–4 loss, but by mid-July Waterloo was leading the league. The team won the county championship in Berlin on August 9 and finished the season strong by winning their final game on August 25, taking the county league title for the second year in a row with a record of nine wins and three losses.
