Electric Cocktail Shaker

Around 1920

This very rare electric cocktail shaker came from the estate of Harold G. Hoffman, former Governor of New Jersey and lover of parties. This is the only electric shaker known to exist. A patent date of April 15, 1919 is only visible on the cast iron base. The bar top shaker has two speeds and a timer, capable of shaking up many drinks without tiring out the bartender.
