Timber in Time: A Cabin’s Journey Through Generations

Visit the 1820 Log Cabin in Waterloo Park this summer.

Step inside Waterloo's very first schoolhouse. This simple one-room building started as a winter school taught entirely in German. Later, it served as a safe home for Black freedom seekers, the Carroll Family. Today, it is a favorite local landmark in the park.

The Waterloo Public Library will be stopping by for story time and to share local history resources.
