Empire Cocktail Shaker with Sheridan Serving Set

This striking polished chrome cocktail shaker with Catalin trim was part of the New York skyscraper series. This series was designed by William Archibald Welden, director of design for Revere Copper and Brass Company. The Catalin trim, a plastic resin, was originally white in colour. Sunlight causes the plastic to yellow over time.
