Postcard, King Street, Waterloo, Ontario

Postcard published by Valentine and Sons, Publishing Co., Montreal and Toronto and printed in Great Britain around 1912

This view of King Street near Erb Street gives us a little look at life in Waterloo around 1912. The street was buzzing with people walking, boarding the electric streetcar, and taking a car out for a spin on the unpaved road. Banks, tailors, butchers, hotels, and hardware stores welcomed in their customers.
