Join us at Conestoga Mall Centre Court on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, for a captivating live puppet show—The Indigenous Creation Story, presented by Eagle and Condor.com and performed by Living Stories. This engaging, family-friendly event is free to attend!

The City of Waterloo Museum will also be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12th. The exhibit, Killing the Indian in the Child: Generations Lost exhibition, explores the lasting impacts of Canada’s Residential Schools. It highlights the forced removal of Indigenous children, cultural erasure, and ongoing trauma, while honoring the resilience of Survivors who preserved their cultures.
The museum also features Bead the Tract, an artwork by Protect the Tract, showcasing the Haudenosaunee connection to the Grand River through raised beadwork. Additionally, Mohawk artist Dakota Brant’s graphic recording links the national history of Residential Schools to the local experience of the Mohawk Institute in Brantford.
During March Break the City of Waterloo Museum will be open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
