Learn how to volunteer with us
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, learn new skills and give back to your community.
Follow these steps to join our volunteer team
1. Browse opportunities
Visit our volunteer opportunities page and choose a role. Make sure you understand the time commitment, tasks and any skills or qualifications needed.
2. Apply online
Each role has an Apply now button. It takes you to the application for that role on the Better Impact website, which we use to recruit volunteers.
3. Create or sign in to Better Impact
You’ll need an account to apply.
4. Complete the application
Fill in the form for the role. Some roles may ask for availability, references or certifications.
5. Screening
We screen all volunteers before they start. Depending on the role, this may include an interview, reference checks or a police records check. We’ll let you know what’s required.
6. Training and start
If we select you as a volunteer, we will provide next steps and training.
