Get monthly parking permit

Start with these 3 steps:

1. Check the map: use our uptown parking map to choose your top 3 lots.
2. Pick your permit type: decide if you want daytime, overnight or 24-hour parking.
3. Email the parking team: email parking@waterloo.ca to check availability and start your application.

The parking team will walk you through the application process and next steps.

Cancel your permit

To cancel your permit:

1. Return your rear-view mirror hang tag to City Hall.
2. If you use pre-authorized payment, fill out and submit the pre-authorized plan change form (PDF) to stop future payments.

Cancel before the end of the calendar month to avoid being charged for the next month.
