The City of Waterloo offers different types of funding to support neighbours in their efforts to build strong, connected communities. Whether you are planning a small project that costs $50, or a large placemaking project that will cost $7000, there is funding available to support your initiative. Mini-Grants for Neighbours 

Apply for up to $300 to support projects that enhance neighbourhood connection.

Neighbourhood Fund 

Apply for up to $7500 to support neighbourhood placemaking projects and events that are inclusive to bring neighbours together. 

Operating Grant

Apply for operating dollars to support a neighbourhood group or neighbourhood event that has operated two years or more. Eligible groups and projects can receive up to $500 in operating funds.
