The city of Waterloo has many outdoor bike and skate parks for BMX, scootering, and skateboarding sports.

Bike and skate park locations
RIM Park Bike Park |
- the RIM Park Bike Park consists of two asphalt pump tracks, one for beginners and one for intermediate and advanced riders
- it is intended for BMX sports but bikes, scooters and skateboards are allowed on both tracks
- gender-neutral washrooms and parking are nearby
- RIM Park will be adding an additional skate park in spring 2025

Stay safe:
- most city bike and skate parks are unsupervised and without lighting, to prevent injury, do not use them after dusk
- wear protective gear, including helmets and safety pads
- children should be closely supervised, especially if still learning
- inspect the conditions of the park ahead of time to ensure it's safe and do not use it during wet or icy weather
- take turns and be mindful of traffic
The city is not responsible for any loss, damage or injuries resulting from use of the skatepark.
Be respectful:
- help keep the space free of graffiti or tagging, it ruins the skate surface
- prevent accidents by not dropping or throwing anything into the skatepark
- be considerate of those around you and keep noise to a minimum
