Waterloo Park playgrounds, sports fields and skatepark

Waterloo Park has playgrounds, sports fields and a skatepark for all kinds of play.
Playgrounds
Play at playgrounds on both the east and west sides of the park:
- East side playground – features swings
- Splash pad playground – features swings and a skatepark
- Waterloo Park playground #2 – features swings, slides and climbing structures
- Eby Farm playground – an accessible playground that features an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Board for non-verbal communication options. To practice at home, download the online version (PDF).
- Father David Bauer Drive play area on the west side – a natural play area with structures for climbing, balance and imaginative play along with a sand and water area for building and natural discovery
Sports fields
Play a variety of sports in the park:
- soccer fields – 2 fields – east side and west side
- baseball diamonds – 4 diamonds for league and community play
- cricket pitch – near the Central Street entrance
- find them on the Waterloo Park Map
Check field conditions during bad weather.
Skatepark
Ride ramps, stairs and vertical elements at the skatepark:
- find it near Father David Bauer Drive, beside the splash pad
- open daily until dusk; it's not lit at night
- for bikes, skateboards and scooters
Lost and found
We don’t have a lost and found for fields, courts or parks:
- we take found wallets, phones or keys to the Waterloo Service Centre
- we leave clothing, sports gear and other items where they were found
