Lumen Lite celebrates light, art and technology in 2020Celebrate light, art and technology two metres apart with Lumen Lite. Earlier this month, the City of Waterloo announced that its third annual festival of light, art & tech is set to go ahead on September 26, 2020.
Waterloo achieves platinum ISO standard, joins global network of cities in performance measurementThe City of Waterloo has achieved the highest certification - platinum - from the World Council on City Data (WCCD) for ISO 37120: Sustainable cities and communities - Indicators for city services and quality of life.
This international standard includes 104 indicators to measure and compare inclusive, sustainable, economically attractive and prosperous cities globally.
Lumen set to go for 2020 with Lumen LiteThe City of Waterloo's festival of light, art, and technology will take place later this month as Lumen Lite, an adapted version of the original event with physical distancing protocols in place.
This year's festival will be a smaller scale event with installations taking place outdoors only.
