City of Waterloo cancels snow event and parking ban at 6 p.m. today Monday, January 26, 2026

The City of Waterloo is cancelling the current Snow Event and street parking ban as of 6 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026. The team has made significant progress clearing city roads.

For more information about the City’s snow clearing priorities for roads and sidewalks and some tips for driving/parking when plows are active, visit  waterloo.ca/snow. 

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the City’s newsfeed  to determine if a parking ban is still in effect.
