Official Plan amendment – West Side Employment Lands, 928, 960, 980 Erb Street West, 975 Columbia Street West and 100 The Wilmot Line

Council has approved amendments to its Official Plan and Zoning By-law that will allow the development of an employment business park at 928, 960, 980 Erb Street West, 975 Columbia Street West and 100 The Wilmot Line. The applicant will create a plan of subdivision that will also contain a range of employment, office, and industrial uses, and also feature a commercial block, open space (e.g., Wilmot Line buffer), and walkways. The land is slightly more than 45 hectares in size, with 37 hectares earmarked for employment and 1.2 hectares for commercial. The Official Plan Amendment and Plan of Subdivision still require approval from the Region of Waterloo.
