Award of Maple Hill Creek rehabilitation
Council approved the award of the Maple Hill Creek rehabilitation to Seawaves Development Services for $1.2 million, including HST. This was the lowest bid received. Maple Creek is a channelized system that extends from the Westvale Park Stormwater Management area west of Fischer-Hallman Road to University Avenue and then north to its confluence with Clair Creek.

Zoning by-law amendment Z-18-15, to remove holding symbol from 46-50 Hickory Street West
Council approved the removal of a holding provision from 46, 48 and 50 Hickory Street to permit the development of a six storey apartment building with 40 residential units (40 bedrooms).
Zoning by-law amendment Z-18-16, to remove holding symbol from 254, 256, 258 Lester Street
Council approved the removal of a holding provision from 254, 256 and 258 Lester Street to permit the development of a 12 storey mixed used residential apartment building with 122 one bedroom units. The proposed development will also include 71 square metres of commercial space on the ground floor.
Zoning by-law amendment Z-18-10, 26 and 28 Dorset Street and 7 Princess Street West, D&A Limited Partnership GP Inc.
Council has approved an application to amend the Zoning By-law for 26 and 28 Dorset Street and 7 Princess Street West. The property currently contains a five-storey mixed-use building (26 Dorset Street) and two single detached dwellings (28 Dorset Street and 7 Princess Street West). The applicant is proposing to demolish the single detached dwellings, retain the five-storey mixed-use building, and construct an 11-storey mixed-use building containing 54 dwelling units and approximately 207 square metres of ground floor commercial space. The new building will be connected to the north façade of the existing five-storey building. A parking structure will extend from the easterly façade of the building.
