City of Waterloo Drinking water system - 2019 annual report

In accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002, the City of Waterloo has prepared an annual report for the City of Waterloo’s drinking water system. The 2019 annual report provides information on the operation of the municipal drinking water distribution system and the quality of its water. Copies of the City of Waterloo’s annual report are available, free of charge, at the Waterloo Service Centre, 265 Lexington Court, by contacting Customer Service (519) 886-2310 extension 30239. An electronic copy of the annual report can also be downloaded from the City of Waterloo's water quality reports page.

The City of Waterloo  utilities division is responsible for the operation of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The Regional Municipality of Waterloo is responsible for the supply and treatment of drinking water and the treatment of wastewater. An annual water quality report is also produced by the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and will be made available on the Region’s website at http://www.regionofwaterloo.ca/water-reports by February 28, 2020.
