International Non-Binary People’s Day

International Non-Binary People’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate people who do not identify within the traditional gender binary while raising awareness about the struggles they face.

Non-binary can mean different things to different people, so it’s important to remember that there is not one meaning or appearance of those who are non-binary. For some, it describes someone who does not identify as a man or a woman. For others, it’s an identity that falls completely outside of these categories.

Non-binary folks show us every day that knowing yourself and your identity is incredibly powerful. Everyone should have the right to make decisions about their own bodies and lives, without fear or discrimination.
