Today is Nowruz! This is a significant annual new year celebration for more than 300 million people around the world with origins in the Middle East, Central Asia, Bahá’í and Ismaili communities. There’s rich cultural heritage and diversity to understand when family, friends and neighbours gather, dress up and celebrate with prayers, food, dancing and music.

Let’s remain committed to a more peaceful world with compassion for more inclusivity among all humans. We can foster peace through everyday human rights dialogue while upholding dignity and respect for the differences that make us unique.
