Pesach (Passover)
Tonight, people around the world will celebrate the beginning of Pesach also known as Passover. This major Jewish holiday is celebrated from nightfall on April 22 to April 30, 2024, to commemorate the freeing of Israelites from ancient Egypt.
Pesach is marked with storytelling, songs, traditions, fresh food and reading from the Haggadah. Jewish communities have endured and overcome persecution by holding on to faith.
To all celebrating, Chag Sameach! Happy Passover!
