Pink Shirt Day 2026
In 2007, high school students in Nova Scotia witnessed a fellow student being bullied for wearing pink. They responded by encouraging everyone at their school to wear pink in solidarity with the student who was bullied.
Today, we join in the efforts to raise awareness about the problem of bullying in our schools, workplaces and online. Pink Shirt Day represents working towards a kinder and more inclusive world without bullying – let’s keep kindness growing in Waterloo!
