Public information centre - Royal Street reconstruction

The City of Waterloo is proceeding with the reconstruction of Royal Street from Weber Street North to Margaret Avenue North. In general, the scheduled work includes the replacement of sanitary sewers, storm sewers watermains, sidewalks, curb and gutter, road base and asphalt pavement for the full extent of the project. This is subject to City of Waterloo Council approval. Weather permitting and pending council approval, construction will start in early April 2020, with substantial completion expected by the end of November 2020.

More information about the Royal Street reconstruction project, the design and how the project will affect residents will be shared at an upcoming public information centre, which you are invited to attend:
