The City of Waterloo releases the 2026/2027 Ageing Well Directory for older adults

The 2026-2027 Ageing Well Directory is a ‘one-stop-shop’ resource that contains a comprehensive list of programs and services in Waterloo for older adults. Included in the Directory is a listing of agencies, institutions, support networks, cultural groups, health, recreation, transportation, housing, and other useful information for older adults living in Waterloo.

The refreshed Directory has new and updated sections dedicated to assisting older adults with navigating essential services such as legal services, elder abuse and fraud, long-term care, computer literacy, government finances and income supports (including tax credits and utility supports), and driving and transportation supports.

This free comprehensive resource provides names and contact information for hundreds of services and businesses that older adults can access. The directory will be available for pick up at City of Waterloo facilities, Waterloo Public libraries and at other locations within the city with the support of the Waterloo Age Friendly Advisory Committee starting this week. The full Directory is also available to read online or for download as a pdf at www.waterloo.ca/seniors.

The Ageing Well Waterloo Directory, originally produced by the Waterloo Age-Friendly Committee, has been updated by the City of Waterloo, with special grant funding from the Government of Ontario, Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility.
