Waterloo 2023 Senior of the Year nominations now open

You know them: caring, involved seniors who have spent their year going out of their way to help others. They have given their time and energy to make a difference in our community, year after year. And now we want to know them too!

Nominations are now open for Waterloo’s 2023 Senior of the Year award. Residents are encouraged to take a few moments to tell us about a special resident over the age of 65 who has made significant contribution to the community as a volunteer.

Seniors who qualify for this award may have contributed to different fields such as the arts, literature, community service, volunteering, education, environment, fitness and humanitarian activities. Waterloo's Age-Friendly Multi-Agency Committee will recognize our Senior of the Year during Senior’s Month in June.
