Waterloo Fire Rescue closes temporary station
As the City of Waterloo and province moves into the reopening and recovery phase, the temporary fire station at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex (WMRC) is no longer required.
“We are maintaining enhanced measures at Station One that support required physical distancing, so we no longer need the temporary site at WMRC,” said Chief Richard Hepditch.
One truck and four crew members returned to Station 1 on June 16.
