Waterloo’s 2026 Senior of the Year nominations now open
Nominations are now open for Waterloo’s 2026 Senior of the Year award. Residents are encouraged to take a few moments to tell us about a special resident over the age of 65 who has made a significant contribution to the community as a volunteer.
Each year, the Age-Friendly Waterloo Advisory Committee and City of Waterloo honours a local senior (65+) for their outstanding contributions to the community.
Seniors who qualify for this award may have contributed to the arts, literature, community service, education, environment, fitness, volunteering or humanitarian activities. The Senior of the Year will be recognized in May.
