Hillside Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. It's a popular place for baseball games and tournaments, and to explore walking trails.

Find the entrance, parking and washrooms
The entrance to Hillside Park is at 352 Marsland Drive:
- free parking
- wheelchair accessible washroom open daily, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May to August
- water bottle filling station available May to August
Explore the park
Hillside Park covers 62 acres of land in central Waterloo. You’ll find:
- ball diamonds
- picnic shelter
- batting cage
- trails for walking and cycling – view our trail map for details
Book baseball facilities
The baseball facilities are available to book, including:
- two lit, fully enclosed ball diamonds
- spectator seating and support facilities
Enjoy the park safely with your dog
Dogs are welcome, but owners must follow city rules:
- keep dogs on a leash no longer than 2.4 metres
- pick up and throw out dog waste
Turn your dog’s poop into energy – use the dog waste recycling container at the trail intersection off MacGregor Crescent.

Lost and found
We don’t have a lost and found for fields, courts or parks:
- we take found wallets, phones or keys to the Waterloo Service Centre
- we leave clothing, sports gear and other items where they were found
