How garden teams work
Each garden is run by a team of 3 to 5 neighbourhood volunteers. If you’d like to volunteer, connect directly with your local garden.
Garden teams are responsible for:
- caring for their individual plot
- maintaining common areas and nearby park space
- organizing forms each season
- digging, planting and weeding
- assigning plots fairly
- staying in regular contact with team members
The time commitment is flexible. The community garden season runs from May to October.
