Waterloo Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Use the park map to find entrances, washrooms, playgrounds, parking and more.

Washrooms

Washrooms are available on both the east side and west side of the park, and at the splash pad:

• east side washroom – open daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., May to September; limited winter hours
• west side washroom – open daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., May to September
• splash pad washroom – open daily in May to August; gender neutral
• all washrooms are wheelchair accessible

Wifi

Find public wifi service at the baseball diamonds and the skate park.

Parking

Parking inside the park is limited. Save these spots for those who need them most.

Options include:

• inside the park: lots at Westmount, Central and Young Street — park in lots, not on roadways
• accessible parking: available at all lots; permit holders don’t pay municipal lot fees
• nearby parking: uptown lots (Bauer Lot, Perimeter Lot, Erb Lot, Dupont Lot) and street parking on Father David Bauer Drive — check the Uptown Parking Map

Bike parking

Bike racks are available in several locations:

• near the splash pad and Park Inn concession
• near the play area on the west side
• at Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex

Transit

Transit stops are located inside and around the park:

• ION light rail:
  • Laurier-Waterloo Park Station inside the park
  • Waterloo Public Square and Willis Way stations are a short walk
• bus routes: 5 (Erb), 12 (Westmount), 29 (Keats–University), 202 (University)
