Waterloo Park splash pad and fountains
Enjoy the splash pad and spray jets in summer. Visit Silver Lake’s fountains and beach area for scenic views — no swimming or fishing.
Splash pad
The splash pad is free to use and open daily in summer:
- open May 31 to Labour Day, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- find it near Father David Bauer Drive, next to the skate park
- free parking on nearby streets and lots
- splash pad is not available for rent, but nearby picnic areas are available

- accessible change rooms and washrooms, picnic and shaded areas nearby
- paved trails to the splash pad with firm, level surfaces
- seating and shaded areas with space for mobility devices nearby
Fountains and spray jets
Silver Lake features fountains and spray jets you can enjoy from the shoreline:
- 3 display fountains: a circular fountain with “Waterloo Park” letters, a cascading fountain, and a larger fountain with misting trees
- interactive spray jets run from May to September
- sandy beach area offers scenic views and shade umbrellas

Silver Lake and fountain rules
Follow these rules to keep Silver Lake safe:
- no fishing or swimming
- no throwing sand or objects into the lake or fountains
- do not enter fountains or drink the water
Lost and found
We don’t have a lost and found for fields, courts or parks:
- we take found wallets, phones or keys to the Waterloo Service Centre
- we leave clothing, sports gear and other items where they were found
