Learn what the city reviews
When reviewing new telecommunication towers, the city focuses on:
- locating towers away from residential areas where possible
- addressing sensitive location sites
- encouraging appropriate design and co-location
- defining the local consultation process and requirements

How to apply:
- Download and complete a Telecommunication Facility Application (PDF).
- Submit your completed application and payment in person at the IPPW counter on the second floor of City Hall
The fee for each facility application is $5,060.
Pay by cash, debit or cheque payable to the City of Waterloo.
