Active living programs

We have many programs and classes that appeal to active seniors. Programs take place at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex and the Community Pavilion.

Options include:

  • fitness and dance
  • yoga and tai chi
  • lots more

Drop-in activities

Drop-in leisure activities are available at the Community Pavilion. The fee for most activities is $2.25. A ten visit pass is available for $20.24. 

Activities include:

  • wood carving
  • Friday Flicks travel presentations
  • Empowered Learners lecture series

Register online, by phone or in person.

Get step-by-step instructions, account help, and refund information on the registration help page.

Sign up and pay on ActiveWaterloo:

  1. Sign in to ActiveWaterloo or create an account.
  2. Search for your activity and pick a date.
  3. Click Enroll Now, confirm participants, and pay online.
  4. Join a waitlist if a program is full.
  5. Pay with credit card, Visa debit or Mastercard debit.
  6. Get your receipt by email.

If you’ve registered before you already have an account. Check before creating a new one.

The front desk accepts cash, cheque, debit, credit and FitPass.
