If you get a high bill
You are responsible for your water use, even if there is a leak. If you receive a high bill caused by a leak, we can work with you on a payment plan.
You may also qualify for help through our bill adjustment process.
Detecting leaks early with smart meters
Smart meters are being installed across Waterloo. These meters already help the city track unusual water use so we can notify you if there may be a problem.
Coming soon: you will also be able to log in to track your own water use, history and trends.
