Translate pages with your web browser
Most browsers can translate pages automatically. Find the Translate button near the web address bar. The icon may show letters or a speech bubble. Chooose your preferred language from the list.

If you can’t translate using your browser, use the Translate tool in the waterloo.ca footer to view pages in other languages.
Translation accuracy
Translation tools on waterloo.ca are provided by third-party companies. The City of Waterloo cannot guarantee that these translations are always correct. The original English version is the official and most accurate version.
Get live interpretation at city facilities
Get live interpretation through Voyce Global at several city facilities in more than 240 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL), Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), Cree, and Ojibwe.
How it works
Staff will connect you with a trained video interpreter from Voyce Global. The interpreter helps you and city staff communicate clearly and respectfully in your preferred language.
