The Neighbourhood Summit is an annual event for residents across Waterloo to discuss all things neighbourhoods. Various workshops, presentations, social opportunities, and resources for community building are available. Whether you are new to neighbourhood activities or part of an established group or association, there is plenty to talk about and learn.
Register for the Neighbourhood Summit
The 2024 Neighbourhood Summit is being hosted on November 7 from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex Community Pavilion. Attend this event to learn more about supporting sustainability in your neighbourhood and to network with fellow neighbours.

Childcare for children aged 4 and up, will be provided onsite for attendees that register in advance. Register online by October 23. Make sure your child is ready to participate in this childcare by confidently answering “yes” to the below questions:

Getting to the event |
The event is located at the Community Pavilion at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. There is free parking available onsite. For directions to the space by car, bus, walking, or transit, please visit Google Maps. Transit support is available upon request to attendees. You can request support when registering for the event. |
Details on the event space |
The Community Pavilion is connected to the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex located at 101 Father David Bauer Drive. The Neighbourhood Summit will be held on the second floor of the Community Pavilion, which is accessible by stairs or elevator. The space includes fluorescent lights, large windows, and potentially loud sounds. Staff and wayfinding signage will be available to help you find the event space. A quiet and scent-free space will be provided on the first floor of the Community Pavilion for participants to use if they need to time away from the main event space. |
