Build your cycling skills with a CAN-BIKE course, Canada’s national bike safety program. Learn safe riding on roads, trails and in city traffic.

Register through Active Waterloo. Courses are open to ages 9 and up, including teens and adults.

Building a bike-friendly city

Waterloo was the first mid-sized city in Ontario recognized as a Gold Bicycle Friendly Community by the Share the Road Cycling Coalition in 2018.
